Northwestern Community Development Corps (NCDC) painted the rock last night to promote Project Pumpkin, the annual Trick-or-Treating event that takes place in Norris from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today. From the event description on NU Link:
“Project Pumpkin is a yearly event that accommodates children from across Chicagoland to come to a safe place to trick-or-treat and play carnival games— Norris turns into a Halloween Paradise for kids! 700-800 children, aged 4 to 12, navigate their way through a Haunted House and activity booths run by residential colleges and dorms, Greek organizations, athletic teams, and campus student groups.”
