By

After a very competitive tournament, Coach Fitz has defeated Stephen Colbert in the championship game of NBN's 2013 March Madness tournament. Congratulations to Coach Fitzgerald, who owns the title of the "face of Northwestern" for at least the next year. Thanks to our readers for voting.

College basketball tournament season – or "March Madness" – is right around the corner. And while right now it appears that Northwestern will suffer through another season without an NCAA tournament appearance, North by Northwestern has put together a bracket of its own. Our bracket seeks to determine, "Who is the face of Northwestern?"

The bracket is below. Over the next week, you – our readers – will determine who should advance and who is knocked out. Simply click on each matchup, read what our panelists have to say and then vote for who you think is a better candidate for the face of Northwestern.

Voting will close at 6 p.m. the night before the next round is set to begin. The round of 32 will take place on Feb. 28, the Sweet 16 from March 1-3, the Elite Eight on March 4, the Final Four, on March 5 and the Championship on March 6. The winner will be announced March 7.

Welcome to Northwestern's version of the Big Dance. Now you decide: Who is the face of Northwestern?
