Fight For Freedom, a student group that raises awareness about modern slavery, is hosting "a night of musical performances, slam poetry and testimonies from anti-trafficking activists" with UNICEF NU and the College Feminists. The event will include pasta, garlic bread and dessert, and all proceeds will benefit an anti-sex trafficking non-profit in Chicago.

Feeling a boost of environmentalism after Bill Nye's inspiring speech on climate change? Channel your newfound love for Mother Earth/Gaia at an Earth Day Celebration with displays from environmental groups and students, catered food and live music. The event is co-hosted by the Environmental Science, Policy and Engineering departments along with McCormick. Funnily enough, the event will be hosted inside.

Take Back the Night March and Survivor Speakout
This annual march across campus against sexual violence will feature a speakout at the Dittmar Gallery in Norris with speeches from survivors and community members to "join together in solidarity against the structures that continually hurt and silence survivors," according to the event's Facebook page. The Take Back the Night march takes place across the globe and is open to the general public.

Contemporary Thought Speaker Series Presents Ezra Klein
Current editor-in-chief at Vox and former Washington Post writer Ezra Klein will speak on the intersection of domestic and economic policy-making, the 2016 elections and the future of journalism as a part of the Contemporary Thought Speaker Series.

Teju Cole: The White Savior Industrial Complex
Nigerian-American writer, photographer and art historian will speak speak about an article he wrote for The Atlantic titled "The White Savior Industrial Complex" in an event hosted by the Buffett Institute of Global Studies.

A&O Presents Ball 2015: T-Pain with AlunaGeorge
T-Pain will perform – without autotune! – for the A&O's Spring Ball, and AlunaGeorge, an electronic music duo from London, will open. Buses will be provided for free rides two and from the theater in Ravenswood.

At the end of Earth Week, Sustainability at Northwestern University will be hosting an "tree walk" throughout campus to educate attendees on the history and care of the trees on campus, right as they begin to burst into bloom.
