One week after upsetting Nebraska in Lincoln, Northwestern (4-5) returns to Ryan Field this Saturday looking to win their third straight game. The Wildcats' opponent this week is Rice, a team that the 'Cats easily handled 30-13 last season in Houston.
Northwestern's final three games of the season will all be played at Ryan Field, and today's contest is the first of those three games. Rice has struggled so far this season and only sits at 3-6, but the Owls were able to top Big Ten opponent Purdue earlier this year. The Owls are also looking to build on a winning streak, as Rice defeated UTEP last Saturday.
