Mastering a language requires practice, practice and more practice. The language departments at Northwestern University host several weekly conversation tables that allow students time to practice speaking in an another language. In addition, these conversation tables allow students and faculty members to bond. North by Northwestern sat in with the Spanish Informal Chats, Japanese Coffee Hour and Russian Table to learn more about what its like to practice speaking in another language.
