Today’s Rock was painted in celebration of the 91st anniversary of the Theta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Founded in 1917, Kappa Alpha Psi was “the first Black Greek-letter organization on Northwestern’s campus.” More information can be found on the group’s Web site.
