Students for Israel is hosting a whole week of events to celebrate Independence Day, 60 years after Israel its first Prime Minister declared it a state.
To celebrate this milestone, the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago will host the Independence Day Gala tomorrow night at 7 p.m. in Welsh-Ryan Arena. The free event will feature Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel, Israeli musician David Broza and comedian Jeff Garlin.
