The 'Cats are back to having an 0-1 week after losing 24-13 to Nebraska at home in Evanston in their first Big Ten game of the season. Sophomore quarterback Clayton Thorson and senior wide receiver Austin Carr both crossed the goal line to pick up six points each, but senior kicker Jack Mitchell fell short, missing both a field goal and an extra point. After a win against Duke last week, the team's third loss of the season comes as a less-than-ideal outcome just before a difficult October schedule. The 'Cats will be back at Ryan Field for Homecoming on October 22 at 11 a.m. against Indiana after two road games and a bye week.
