The Northwestern Wildcats football team fell just short of a win after a hard-fought game against the 7-1 Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus, Ohio, losing 24-20. Coming off a three-week winning streak just after the Buckeyes' first loss of the season, the game proved to be more intense than it seemed like it would be back in September. At a game filled with over 100,000 fans, most of them wearing scarlet, the 'Cats fought hard, even tying the game at 17 in the third quarter.
The second to last home game of the season will be this Saturday, Nov. 5 against Wisconsin at 11 a.m. CDT.
