The Northwestern baseball team (7-18, 1-2 B1G) beat Chicago State (6-17, 0-3 WAC) 11-5 in their home opener, playing in the newly renovated Rocky and Berenice Miller Park for the first time. The 'Cats will host a three-game series against Michigan starting on Friday.
