Lawrence Dai has seen the 2009 film Julie & Julia many times. Every day, in fact, since he wrote on his blog titled The Lawrence/Julie & Julia Project, “Starting today, Tuesday, November the 30th, 2010, I will watch the comedy-drama Julie & Julia every day for a exactly one year–from the opening title sequence until the very last credits roll.”
Now, not even a third of the way finished, Dai struggles to fulfill his promise as his blog lampooning the movie’s premise– paired with his alternatively witty and frazzled posts– has landed him attention in national media like The Huffington Post and the UK’s The Guardian and thousands of readers wait to see how long he’ll last.
