Headquartered in Evanston, Ill.
By

Sometimes, it feels like the only thing in Evanston is Northwestern, the city itself and their perceived miserable relationship. Yet the area we call home serves as the headquarters to many international organizations. Situated here are not only charitable groups like Rotary International, but also college student-based groups, like Greek organizations Alpha Phi and Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

Next time you overhear someone refer to Evanston as “that place where Northwestern is,” you can laugh silently to yourself knowing that this city holds more than just BK, the Keg and an early bedtime. Ignore the “town-gown” meter that the Princeton Review loves to highlight, take a look at the other side of Evanston and the groups that call it home.
