The newest members of Gamma Phi Beta painted today’s Rock, leaving the international sorority’s open motto “Founded Upon a Rock” on the side of the campus landmark. From the Epsilon chapter Web site:
Gamma Phi Beta “was founded on November 11, 1874 at Syracuse University…it now has an international membership of over 130,000 members, with 114 collegiate chapters and 156 alumnae groups.”
