A former student was found dead Monday in Tigard, Ore., according to the Tigard Police Department.
Jackie Mahoney had been a student in the School of Communication, and was last enrolled in 2012. Tigard Police said Mahoney was found dead of a self-inflicted injury in the Tigard Embassy Suites. No other information was provided. She was 23.
The Registrar’s Office said Mahoney was enrolled at the University between Fall 2008 and Summer 2012, but did not graduate.
According to her Facebook page, Jackie was living and working in the Portland, Ore. area.
