    If you’re like most college students, you probably tune out the second someone drops the classic, “Well, back in my day …”

    As the 2016 presidential race heats up, the differences between elections now and when our parents were in school are becoming clear. You might have missed some historical context when you tuned out.

    Here are the six things you might have heard if you would have just stopped day dreaming about cat videos you saw on YouTube instead of listening to your parents:
