North by Northwestern

Fans, students and alumni came to Wrigley early Saturday morning for a number for pregame tailgating events for the Allstate Wrigleyville Classic between the Northwestern Wildcats and Illinois Fighting Illini. The Northwestern Alumni Association hosted “Wildcat Way,” a block of tailgating booths and games where fans could enjoy the atmosphere that is Wrigleyville. Bars and restaurants around the neighborhood hosted tailgating events for fans of both teams as well. – Katherine Tang
