Comedy Central star Adam Devine will perform stand-up comedy as the A&O Productions Spring Speaker on April 8, the student group announced Tuesday evening.
DeVine is a star and creator of Workaholics and Adam DeVine’s House Party. He has also appeared on Community, Modern Family and Arrested Development and won a Teen Choice Award for his role as Bumper in Pitch Perfect.
In addition to his TV and film work, DeVine started stand-up in Los Angeles and has appeared in a number of comedy festivals, including Montreal’s Just For Laughs. He has also performed improve with Second City.
A&O also announced that actor and comedian Adam Ray and Communication seniors Mike Schultz and Alex Heller will open the show. Heller was scheduled to perform as an opener for Nick Swardson, the cancelled 2013 A&O Spring Speaker.
Tickets will be sold for $5 on the Norris Box Office website starting tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. The show will be held at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall at 7pm.
