Don’t get jealous, Northwestern. A&O Productions announced Monday morning that Chromeo will perform as the A&O Spring Ball headliner.
Spring Ball will be held Friday at the Riviera Theater in Chicago. A&O said that tickets will soon be on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Norris Box Office website for $10. The show begins at 8pm, and doors will open at 7pm. Free shuttles will be available to and from the theater.
The Canadian electro-funk duo of Dave 1 and P-Thugg released their first album in 2004. Their fourth studio album, White Women, will be released in May and features collaborations with Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, Solange and Toro y Moi. Chromeo performed at Coachella, and will be appearing at a number of other music festivals this summer.
A&O has not yet released information about Spring Ball’s opening act. Chromeo will succeed Ludacris, the 2013 headliner.
