Representatives from Northwestern’s AIESEC painted the Rock to advertise for their Global Village event.
According to their Web site, AIESEC is the world’s largest student organization. The group runs conferences and sends members to work abroad, in its goal to be “the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact in society.”
The Global Village event will take place this Sunday at 4 p.m. in Parkes Hall, and will feature booths from 18 different countries. Organizers say they are attempting to unite people through (free) food and music.
