For the first time, ASG held the Environmental Day of Service. Last Saturday, students could volunteer at one of seven locations on campus and in Evanston, where they could help with cleaning up litter, gardening, mulching and preserving prairies. With the Green Cup competition is underway, students won points for their group by volunteering. NBN followed the Evanston Treekeepers, who were in charge of maintaining trees in Clark Square. Here's a slice of Environmental Day of Service.
