Google’s Android team has finally released a video showing how the open source software actually functions. While I wasn’t too impressed with the budget phone model, I was highly impressed by the higher-end, touch-based model.
The Good:
- Google Streetview
- Games (Quake anyone?)
- 3D graphic capabilities
- 3G enabled (though it’s unclear what device the software is running on)
- 10 million dollar reward for great third party developers
The Bad:
- Awkward programmers with watery mouths hosting the video
