The stars of Suits are back at Northwestern, a few weeks after they visited campus on their “Suits: College Tour.” This time, though, they’re here to cheer on the dancers of Dance Marathon. Meghan Markle and Rick Hoffman filmed a video while here last month to motivate students as they danced through Block 1. Here are some fun facts about the show to keep you from falling asleep in your ten minute break!

    1. Markle, an NU alumna who graduated from the School of Communications in 2002, danced in NUDM in 2000, the year that it supported Gilda’s Club of Chicago, which offers support for families affected by cancer.

    2. Also an International Relations major, Markle worked for the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires after graduation.

    3. To support herself between jobs, Markle worked as a freelance calligrapher, and has expressed an interest in returning to school for a Master’s degree in International Diplomacy.

    4. The office of Hoffman’s character, Louis Litt, has his own selfies plastered on the wall.

    5. Hoffman attended the University of Arizona and waited tables in New York City to support himself before landing his first movie role in 2000, when he abruptly quit and moved to Los Angeles.
