DJs N.A.S.A and Kill The Noise will perform on Dillo Day, Mayfest announced tonight. These artists will join previously announced acts B.o.B, The New Pornographers and Chiddy Bang in the Dillo Day lineup.
N.A.S.A, which stands for North America/South America, will bring hip-hop infused electronica to the Dillo Day stage. The duo, comprised of Squeak E. Clean (Sam Spiegel) and DJ Zegon (Ze Gonzales), has collaborated with an eclectic group of artists, including Tom Waits, Kanye West and Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. N.A.S.A seeks to break down geographical barriers and bring the world together through music with their debut album The Spirit of Apollo.
Los Angeles-based DJ Kill The Noise (Jake Stanczak) burst onto the electro house scene in 2008. Since then, Kill The Noise teamed with DJ Craze to create Slow Roast Records and opened for DJ/producer Tiesto on his Kaleidoscope World Tour in North America.
Mayfest Battle of the DJs winner Guns and Sons will join N.A.S.A and Kill The Noise in bringing electronic music to Dillo Day.
