Actor-comedian Eugene Levy will speak at Ryan Auditorium on Monday, April 11, the Hillel Speakers Committee announced today.

Levy, best known for his roles in the American Pie franchise and Christopher Guest movies like Best in Show, will field questions from a student interviewer about his career and Jewish background. Audience members will also be able to ask questions.

“It’s going to be a great event to start off an amazing quarter,” said committee president Michael Zaslow, adding that the event attendance is open to all students, regardless of religious affiliations. “We want to get everyone together for this and just have a fun night on Monday.”

Sketch comedy and improv group Mee-Ow will perform before Levy takes the stage.

In years past, Hillel has brought speakers like Jason Alexander and Andy Samberg to campus.

Tickets for “A Conversation with Eugene Levy” go on sale online and in-person at the Norris Box Office for $5 on Friday, April 1 at 10 a.m. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. on April 11 for the 8 p.m. show.
