NU Decides caps off its voter registration effort
By ,

NU Decides, Northwestern’s non-partisan voter registration group, registered approximately 1,300 voters in three weeks. Monday was the last day to register in most states, so the group capped off its main registration effort with one last tabling event. Even though NU Decides booths have been visible around campus almost every day since students arrived, prospective voters crowded the tables in the Tech lobby on Monday to take advantage of their last chance to register.

“My goal would be to get everybody to register,” said Weinberg junior Melissa Perry, the absentee chair for NU Decides. “That’s kind of a lofty goal, but we have registered a good portion of the school.”
