Though the weather may have made it difficult to decipher, representatives from Northwestern University Students for Barack Obama painted the Rock last night. Leah Nelson, the group’s Campus Coordinator, said they decided to paint the Rock before “Super Tuesday,” in hopes that it will get students to vote for the Illinois Senator.

In other news, a mysterious sign featuring the letters of Phi Mu Alpha, Northwestern’s Music Fraternity, appeared in front of the Rock today. No word yet as to why.

UPDATE: Those who passed by the Rock today may have been serenaded by the brothers of Phi Mu Alpha, who are encouraging men to attend their Spring Rush events.
